About Graciegrl

Hey there - my name is Grace, the owner and operator of Graciegrl!

This all began with me selling vintage clothing on Depop when I was just 15 years old. What began as a teenage side hustle turned into my full-time job and lifelong passion. By my senior year of high school, I was sewing for an art class project when i accidentally created my first big hit- a pair of patchwork jeans. From that moment on, I was hooked!

These days, I spend my time sewing and reworking clothing on my grandma's vintage singer sewing machine from 1985. its the same machine she taught me how to sew on, and its one of my most treasured possessions. Her mother (my great grandmother) even made a job for herself taking old fabric from feed sacks and turning them into to dresses in the 40s and 50s for people in town. So I can truthfully say that sewing runs through my blood.

Like my great grandmother I use second hand materials to create clothing. I source all my materials from estate sales and thrift shops. Sustainability is at the heart of what I do. I love giving old textiles new life and turning vintage finds into wearable art.

My style is inspired by the 70s - a mix of boho, free-spirited, and full of soul. You'll usually find me sewing with some classic rock playing in the background, channeling my inner grandma. I've always loved "old people crafts" - quilting, embroidery, crochet- and Graciegrl is my way of keeping those timeless traditions alive.

Each piece you see here is handmade with care, creativity, and a whole lot of love. Thank you for being here and supporting my little world of reworked vintage and patchwork dreams. <3
